WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS

Take heart my friend. I hate to see you blue.
We will play to the end, because our hearts are true.

There are chores and changes galore,
as our lives flow along.

We're forced to do more,
we're forced to be strong.

I count you as one of my strengths,
you with your wiles and your ways.

I'll be going to great lengths,
to be sure our friendship stays.

Since you have no way of knowing just how much you mean to me.
Look at the lights here glowing,
and feel my hug on thee.

Dreams

All people dream, but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind,
Wake in the morning to find that it was vanity.
But the dreamers of the day are dangerous people,
For they dream their dreams with open eyes,
And make them come true.
